Athletes and clubs

Most matters concern the relationship between an athlete and a club. A player's contract has a number of specifics — the payment record of clubs, remuneration or the recovery of outstanding sums. We prepare, draft and review sporting contracts and represent clients before arbitration and other bodies of sports associations and organisations, or before the courts.

Clients are mainly footballers, but also individual athletes from a wide range of sports.

Areas

  • Rights and liability of athletes

Esports law

Since 2020 the firm has also worked in the fast-growing field of esports. Wherever there is a competition with rules, sanctions and professional players, the same legal questions arise as in traditional sport — and experience from it pays off directly.
